India starts heavy firing and shelling across LoC
India Border Security Force (BSF) once again started un-instigated shelling and firing across the Line of Control, at Iftikhar Abad sector, Azad Kashmir on early Monday.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan Army, has claimed that the brave soldiers have given an equally stern response to the Indian counterparts. It has stated that the excessively aggressive reply from Pakistan’s side has silenced the guns across the border.
The violation of the ceasefire took place somewhere between 12:00am to 4:00am.
According to the ISPR report, no loss of lives and property has been witnessed as the result of cross-border firing.
On the other hand, Pakistani Foreign Office has acknowledged the event and has made clear that this time a serious action would be taken. The spokesperson from the office has said that; this is for the third time that an unprovoked firing and shelling has been started by India in the last three days, leading to a ceasefire violation.
