SCHOOLS OVER
I was really hesitant to go to the 5k run tonight. I haven't been in a while and I didn't feel too well. In fact, the more I thought about it, the sicker I felt. Lucky I was already in the car on the way there before I really thought about it. My stomach was turning and sure, I love the feeling afterwards, but I always look a little silly coming last (even though this isn't a bad thing, I've always prided myself on just finishing the course. but you know, it would be nice for once) and I get so red-faced and sweaty.
Tonight I did better than I have before. I can honestly say that I ran (and slow-pace jogged) a good 85% of it, if not more. And I didn't come last.
