Listen/purchase: Someone Like You by HEHFU

I was going to write a pop song full of hooks like Learning Dutch, but ended up doing this instead. One-shot guitar takes, fake drum beats, and mumbled vocals all squeezed through a tape emulator.

I should be releasing a bunch more like this throughout the year, they’re just sort of sitting on my hard drive, overthinking with me.

This one’s about idealizing someone you probably couldn’t have anyway (yay).

Hehfu - Two and a Half Years

Look, not every song can be super long. If you can get your point across in less than four minutes then so be it. There's nothing wrong with that. The UK's Hehfu are capable of doing that, packing in enough shoegazing into a relatively efficient amount of time. Sometimes the little things are so bittersweet.
