The miraculous image does not, as is usual, bear the name of the location, such as the Mother of God of Altötting or that of Lourdes. It is the only Madonna named after her Donor is named, Ursula Hammerthaler, born Grießenbeck von Grießenbach from Lower Bavaria. Comfort and support in the darkest hours In 1638 it was declared a miraculous image and when the monastery was dissolved, the statue found its way back into the valley to the Heilig-Geist-Kirche.
