@zozee122-2 asked: Does Esmeray’s (hope I spelled that correctly) eyes change red when she gets angry like Elio’s and Yang’s?
You did spell it correctly.
No, her eyes do not glow red and i’ll explain why if you’re interested.
Esmeray is the biological child between Jaune Arc (sperm donor) and Blake Belladonna. She has no genetic coding for her eyes to have the “Branwen red glow”. Instead, being a Panther Faunus like rest of the Belladonna’s, her eyes illuminate and reflect in the night so as to aid in her night vision. They never glow in reaction to her mood.
Also, her lilac eyes are naturally pure lilac where as Yang’s are actually an ever changing mix of blue and red, the blue completely vanishing and red taking over when she is angry or blue taking over and turning her eyes more indigo when she is sad.
Elio is the biological child between Jaune Arc (sperm donor) and Yang Xiao Long. His genetic coding has given him the same mood-based glowing trait that his Grand Uncle, Grandmother, and Mother poses. His eyes (and hair) will also glow when using his semblance. (He looks an awful lot like Yang during this period of time)
The only difference to speak of is the actual eye color. Elio has specks of yellow and an overall more yellowish tint to his eyes as opposed to the pure, deep red his other family members have.
Jet’s hunter garb provides him plenty of protection if his aura fails, one of which includes his mask. Combined with hologram technology, all he needs to do is swipe down from his hood and it generates on his face, black as his proclaimed soul. This prevents opponents and enemies from catching him using his semblance; eye contact being a dead give away that he’s reaching down into the depths of your mind.
I realized I never drew his mask so on a quick break, I decided to sketch it out super quick before returning to work.
