I love the thought of Sam’s pain tolerance being disgustingly high after the Cage, I know it’s practically canon but it’s so fun to think of Sam getting his his lung punctured by one of his several broken ribs after a fight and when Dean asks him to rate the pain he says maybe a 4. Getting shot and stabbed are 1’s. Nothing a human can do seems all that bad anymore after getting your skin peeled off and then have boiling oil poured on the muscles under it.
