Y'all it's time to talk about Nabi and how much of a totally sassy bitch this boy is. I'll try and be light on the spoilers but like, I just feel that the sheer amount of "I listen to Avril Lavingne. There's one gay club here and I go there often." vibes are frankly not being appreciated by my fellow fam so here we go let's rant.
Ok so, by the time you get to this point in the story, you been playing for about 5 minutes. Already, Nabi's personality of 😒 personified is showing. Sure "Sure", is an option that you can give as well, but if that's the nice option and the other is something as direct and rude as "I don't wanna hang with y'all", you've already got a precedent going lmao.
Now we're getting to the real stuff tho. The FIRST TIME he runs into demons? This is his reaction, and it's beautiful:
No "OMG there are DEMONS HERE" naw. He looks at these monsters like "Who are these yeeyee ass looking children. Bald headed ass. Your mama let you go out like that? Girl." And bro, I'm living for that. Yeah when they attack him, THEN he's like, "Oh damn" but his initial reaction? Priceless.
^ This here is a really prevalent trend. So when Nahobino finally starts fighting things, right? He quickly adapts this suuuper sassy attitude and EVERYTHING. How he acts and just carries himself simply Emanates "That one gay bitch" energy. They come up and disrupt his day, and he's giving that side eye like "Are you fuckin serious rn?" Most likey, he thinks he's better than everyone. Frankly? He's kinda right ngl ngl.

This one has tiny spoilers, but when [REDACTED] happens right? The fact that this is even an OPTION just kills me. Like, goddamn, Nabi had to have STARTED cold to even be like this. Epitome of "You know what lemme just mind my own business actually."
(I also have SO many feelings about [REDACTED] that I wanna talk about so bad. They correlate to Nabi's personality and how similar he is to Sayori and why he behaved like he did in [REDACTED] but her arc is full of spoilers so another time.)
I cropped these for spoiler reasons but time and time again Nabi's dialogue options really express his sassy personality, especially the further you get into the game. There are more than these, but again, spoilers, so I'm gonna refrain. Assumedly, they get less nice as you progress because Nabi is getting more and more tired of everybody's shit, as he absolutely should.
In the end, options available like "I don't want to" and "I could always use more power" being so consistently available and/or the only options you can choose from really sell to me this idea of a snarky and kinda toxic little gay boy 😂 The only character that I HAVEN'T seen these kinds of options available with (thus far, I have not finished the game yet) has been with Aogami so uh. Make with that what you will 😂
