love the 2007 persuasion partly bc of its absolutely depressing color palette . i think it misses the point of the book totally but its funny and i also unironically love the aesthetic of the movie. it's not typical jane austen but it's rly calming

that's a good point. i think a huge plus of the newer adaptations is the aesthetic aspect. they are only getting prettier and prettier.

One of the mains for the ‘GGG’ story. I’m laughing cause I found his earliest designs I had of him and he had a headband, trench coat and a mullet. If current Jose would see the designs, prob def would burn it.
