Hello! My name is Blair. I am sending out a signal for a 21+ rp partner that is interested in original universe dark fantasy (with horror elements), with a touch of romance (primarily nb/m or nb/nb, but open to other pairings if the chemistry is there). I am 26 years old and my timezone is MST. Any pronouns. I am very queer/lgbt friendly! I have 15 years of rp and writing experience. I am interested in roleplay in original fantasy universes of our own creation, where we combine our lore to make a fun story together! I primarily dabble in fae mythology, taking inspiration from Celtic, Norse, Roman, Greek, Persian, Ottoman, and many other mythologies and folklores for my writing and characters. I also enjoy worldbuilding and speculative biology & evolution. History and prehistory, nature, and folklore are my biggest inspirations.

I LOOOVE bugs and they will play a big part in the designs of my characters, so if you are entomophobic I would steer clear. I usually write in multi-paragraph to novella form. I can do combat/action scenes, character intrigue and drama, smut and romance, angst, fluff, multiple characters (though I usually have one main POV character), and much more. I don't expect my partner to match my length as long as I am given enough to work with. I am willing to write darker topics with prior discussion. I am also willing to do crossovers and interact with characters from canon franchises that have similar fantasy/horror genre leanings. like Dragon Age, DnD, ASOIAF, Lovecraft, Hellblade, ACOTAR, etc etc etc. My favorite place to roleplay is tumblr and discord.

I am looking for a rp partner that is flexible and understanding. I don't demand certain amounts of activity from my rp partners, everything is chill and at our own pace. The further she saw into the darkness, the more she struggled to see anything at all.

Is this what hell is, a world shaped by our nightmares?

Even in darkness the wonder and beauty of the world never leaves. It's always there, just waiting to be seen again.

She's afraid? Wouldn't you be?

How little separates us from what we fear.

And in the end we all fall. Even the gods have their time.

They've taken his soul.

There is nothing to go back to and worse to look forward to.

Bravery only means something to those afraid of death. Her fear runs far, far deeper.

The man I was once has died. And when that happens, even gods you worship can die within you.

Exile makes sense when you realise that you were never really home in the first place.

Darkness just builds onto itself, growing stronger, towering over her.

Never forget what it is like to see the world as a child: where every autumn leaf is a work of art; every rolling cloud, a moving picture.

Fuck the gods! You did this to her!

Turn your back on death and you only see the shadow  that it cases.

All of her suffering will have been for nothing. It's just a matter of time.

People think of evil as an unnatural invisible force, and so invoke the gods for protection. But evil can come from the hand behind the gods: a familiar hand, cold and cruel.

You might think she's brave to go on this journey on her own, but it isn't bravery that drives her.

When the illusion of self is shattered, you simply cease to be.

They can break you, but not your promise.

How does he so effortlessly court the world in bliss?

A life without loss is one without love.

It will not give you the answers you want. But you mustn't look away from the horror it does offer, because you cannot overcome suffering if you refuse to look at it.

Darkness does not bargain. It does not reason. It is rot.
