Okay so Ben calls Abe "Flipper" in the comic's

Of course he could've just picked up the name from hearing someone else say it or something of that sort! But he most likely has seen the movie "Flipper 1996", he probably watched it when he was younger a few time's and even watched it a couple of time's when he got older. Honestly I just generally headcanon that he enjoys occasionally watching feel good/family movie's!

You know what's a really underrated scene in Hellboy 2019 All of them that scene where Hellboy is just sitting at the bar and a little scorpion crawls on his hand and stings him and Hellboy says something along the line's of "It's okay little buddy I won't judge, I know you're just doing your thing."

honestly i wouldnt even be excited for a reboot if it HAD ron perlman and del toro everything i've heard about del toro's planned third and final installment in a trilogy of hellboy films sounds PERFECT, a perfect end to this incarnation of hellboy and a story that you don't hear as often but that i LOVE when i do get the chance to see it like. he's full of all this Evil Power and he cant make it stop... but he can harness it, since it's his, and use these "dark powers" for GOOD. embracing his role to gain full access to his powers so he can thwart the true evil that wants to hurt everyone and everything, themes of regrowth/rebirth, hellboy really learning to ACCEPT HIMSELF and not hate himself, messages abt how the parts inside you that you think are Bad or Wrong or Evil and that you squash down can be your ULTIMATE STRENGTH if you just accept that it's a part of you and learn to WIELD it properly, like someone who's low empathy using that aspect of themselves to become an incredible surgeon. the literal king of hell himself rising from the ashes to save the entire world because there are kittens and children and a woman he loves who loves him back and people who work so hard just to get through the day, people who work their fingers to the bone just to try and make life a little better for others, people that are scared and lonely and hurting and HE CAN DO THIS. HE CAN SAVE THEM, BECAUSE THEY DONT DESERVE AN ENDING LIKE THIS, SO HE REWRITES IT HIMSELF. SAYS FUCK THIS, IF I CANT NOT BECOME THIS, I WILL BECOME IT AND THEN BEND IT TO MY DESIRE, AND USE IT TO SAVE THE WORLD even if you had ron and del toro, a fucking REBOOT would still be a disgrace and a disappointment

I can't find The Wolves of Saint August anywhere, in stores or for free online. Maybe I could ask my parents to get it off Amazon for christmas. But I'll probably finish Seed of Destruction by the end of the week, so 'd just be dry for a good month.
