'Will you be my boyfriend?'
Prompt: Shensley where George breaks down after everyone finds out he's gay. And Jaymi is helping him yo get him back on his feet. Fluff ending :) X (Here you go! Sorry it took a while and I hope you like it :) If anyone else has any prompts to be filled, please send them in!) George opened his eyes one by one and looked around slowly, his eyes settling upon the object that caused him to wake up. He groaned slightly, his head hurting as he reached blindly towards the source of the noise, eventually his hand connected with the object. He brought it up to his ear, silencing the ringing and said voice thick with sleep, "Hello?" "George! Finally, I've been calling you all day!" Said a familiar voice on the other end accusingly, it took George a few moments to release why the voice sounded familiar... It was his girlfriend, Katherine... "You have?" George asked as his eyes trailed towards the clock which read 17:47. He had been sleeping all day yet his head still hurt. "George have you seen the papers?" "N-No, why?" "Well, they're full of pictures from when you went out last night. Some of which showed you kissing a guy, what happened?" George took a moment of thought as he tried to recall the events of last night but he found the alcohol had clouded his memories. "I don't know, I can't remember anything... Sorry..." "George, listen it's not your fault but can you answer me one thing." "Sure, anything." "Are you gay?" George hesitated for a moment, he knew he had feelings stronger than a friend should for one guy, but was he gay? "I don't know..." He repeated. "Look George, I don't mind if you are or not but I just want to know." "I t-think so..." "Is it Jaymi?" "Jaymi? How did you know?" "I see the way you look at him George. I can see that you care about him, like him and you want him in your life forever don't you?" "Yeah..." "Look George, all I want is you to be happy so I'm not mad." "Hang on a sec." George said as he felt his stomache lurch. He threw the covers away from his body and rushed to the toilet, phone still in hand. Just in time, George knelt over the toilets as he threw up the entire contents his stomache. After a few moments George pulled back from the toilet and muttered "Sorry." into the phone. "Hey Georgie, are you ok?" She asked in a concerned tone. "No not really." George replied truthfully because his head hurt, he felt sick and he confused. "Look George, take a while to think everything over but I think you need to tell Jaymi how you feel. Especially since there are currently photos of you kissing another guy." George sighed, he knew she was right. Although he knew he was in love with her, George couldn't help knowing the feelings he held for Jaymi were stronger than he'd ever felt, "But what about us?" "I hope we can still be friends George, but I know you'd rather be with him." "I love you." "I know." She said as she hung up the phone, leaving George in silence to process everything she'd said. After a moments he knew what he had to do, he had to admit to being gay and in love with Jaymi. So George pulled himself off the floor in the bathroom and headed in the direction of the other boys. Eventually he had the other three members of Union J sitting in the lounge. "Morning sleepy head." Jaymi greeted George as he entered the room, throwing the younger boy an affectionate grin. "G-Guys..." George started and after a deep breath he continued, "Guys, can I talk to you?" "Course Georgie, what's up?" Josh asked, noticing the serious look on George's face. "I-I'm gay..." George stuttered nervously, as he looked around the room studying his bandmates expressions, waiting for their response. But it never came. The three boys sat there silently, expressions never changing clearly astonished as to what George had just said. So he ran. He ran wherever his legs took him and he didn't stop or look back once. He hurried down corriders, through doors, tears hazing his vison until he reached the first empty room. While sitting there he wrapped his arms around his legs and rested his forehead on his knees as he tried to stop the tears that were brimming in his eyes from falling. But it no was good. One by one they began to fall from his eyes, gradually becoming more frequent until a steady stream of tears rolled down George's face. Everything that had happened in the last hour ran through George's head, but each time his thoughts fell back to one thing. Or rather one person, Jaymi... George knew that he shouldn't, but he couldn't help it, he was in love with his best friend. The same one who would never love him back. George sighed sadly as a fresh wave of tears fell from his eyes. After what felt like hours George heard footsteps nearing the room he was in, "George?" A familar voice called to George as he entered the room the younger boy was occupying. "Georgie, look I know you're in here so there's no point in hiding. I can hear you crying." Jaymi called after a while, voice breaking the silence of the room. "George listen to me, I know how your feeling... Everything's hard isn't it? You don't feel like you fit in? And you're constantly worried about how other people will react? George I've been through it all and I'm sorry for not realising you're going through the same things, we're not upset or anything and you have to know it doesn't make us think any less of you. I'm here for you Georgie, I'm here to help you through it and I'm proud of you George, it takes a lot of guts to confess your sexuality. Look, will you talk to me please? I'm not mad at you." "Y-You're not?" George asked quietly. "Of course I'm not Georgie... I'm not mad because George, I'm gay too." Jaymi said as he cautiously walked through the room in the direction of George's voice. "I know that..." George mumbled, after all Jaymi had been openly gay for almost three years. "So why would I be mad?" "Because there's something else Jay." "Come on, you can tell me anything George..." Jaymi prompted, confusion filling his voice as he thought of the possible secrets George could be hiding. "I think I might falling in love with you..." George said softly, voice barely above a whisper. A warm blush spread over his cheeks, as he looked down embarresed. "In love with me?" Jaymi questioned, unsure if he had imagined the words tumbling out of the boys mouth. George nodded, and after realising that Jaymi would be unable to see his response he replied, "Yeah." "Oh Georgie..." Jaymi said, extending his hand until it gently collided with warm skin. "I know I'm falling love with you." He whispered quietly. "You're not just saying that are you?" George said hesitantly. "Of course not Georgie, I would never lie to you." Jaymi replied truthfully. "Thank you Jay." George said as he lent into Jaymi's touch. The two boys sat side by side. "Thank you." George said softly, voice breaking the silence of the room. "For what?" Jaymi asked curiously because as far as he was concerned he hadn't done anything worthy of thanks. "Everything." George whispered as he lent forwards slightly, lips connecting with Jaymi's, pulling him into a kiss... Their first kiss... A few moments later, the two boys pulled back and rested their foreheads together, "I really love you Georgie." Jaymi said quietly as he reached out for George's hand, entwining their fingers together lightly. "Will you be my boyfriend." He asked, suddenly nervous. "I'd really like that." George replied as he captured Jaymi's lips in another kiss, the first of many yet to come.
