Closed - Thick as thieves

Vought had treated Heli like a failure since day one. It was bad enough when she was born the birth was so difficult it killed her mother, but on top of it, the serum didn't yield the results they wanted. Helli was a healthy girl, but she'd been born blind. Not only that she didn't show any real powers for nearly a year. And even then they were weak at best, and John already proved to be ten times as powerful. Since the little monster kept killing his handlers, or 'moms' as they started calling them, why not let him have a play mate they didn't care if he crushed to death?

No one dared get too close to John however, so they opened the door and shoved the little albino blind girl inside of the cell with the five year old boy.

Heli was scared, and she still had a hard time with everything. Navigating the world in shades of grey, and black and white. What she couldn't tell them, and what they seemed to not understand was that while she was born without eye sight she had incredible other senses. For instance her hearing allowed her to use echo location.

But when she was tired, and scared it was hard to keep track. She stumbled into the cell, and felt along the wall, before she started to cry. The four year old didn't understand what was happening. So she did the only thing she knew how. She sat against the wall, curled into a ball and cried.
