ok but like. I'm relistening to TAZ Amnesty and wondering when/if Duck had the conversation of like. why he had a magic sword? where he got a magic sword? with the rest of the pine guard. like, can you imagine you meet some boring if kinda tough dude who seems to wanna back out of this "saving Kepler" stuff as much as possible and then he sighs and says "yeah ok I'll do it" and then comes back later with a TALKING FUCKING SWORD? like i can imagine aubrey was a little distracted with her own magic powers and ned probably was getting bugged by barclay abt the video and mama just... vanished, but like. was there no downtime sometime in those two months where he got questioned? esp when minerva was still popping in and out before they settled the schedule so he might look like he was talking to thin air if someone walked in? I just. I'm gonna be thinkin abt this for a while apparently--
