Judging by how he was in cell school, Memory used to be more level headed back in the day, possibly less scatterbrained as well. He likely worked under Helper T and knew M cell as well, and has known them awhile

PSA: go watch Cells at Work

It's on Netflix and seems to have just started, at least on Netflix. It's only got one season up so far. But it's amazing.

I have only watched one episode and I love it.

There are cute little worker platelets.

There is a shy, "new girl in town" red blood cell.

There is a dedicated, helpful white blood cell.

The killer t cells are basically jocks.

The helper t cells are basically geeky security guards.

And in the first episode they fight pneumococcal bacterium.

PLUS, it's a really helpful show that teaches you how the body works without making it overly complicated. So far, everything is correct by my calculations.

What more could you ask for?
