Headcanon that in the final scenes of LCDP we have Palermo sacrificing himself like Berlin did. He’s running towards his death and talking to El Professor, telling him to go ahead and save themselves. De una forma u otra, el tiempo nos volverá juntar.

He didn’t have any reasons to live anymore. Andrés was dead, the Plan was almost completed, Helsinki and all the others will be safer if he manages to buy them more time by attacking the armed forces.  And then, when he’s right there, about to face his death, we see Helsinki. He reaches out, grabs him and he saves him... Just like Palermo said he would have done with Berlin, had he been there. The circle closes.  Yo entro y lo saco de los pelos.
