Here East is a media complex, built specially for the 2012 London Olym- pics. It is located at the site of the former Hackney Wick Stadium close to the Riverbank Arena in Hackney. During the Olympics and Paralympics, the complex was named the London Olympics Media Centre. It was later refurbished and renamed to Here East in 2014. It went on to accommodate campuses for Staffordshire University, Loughborough University and University College London as well as Plexal, a co-working location for start-up businesses.

The London Office for Rapid Cybersecurity Advancement (LORCA), a new centre for cyber innovation, was opened yesterday by Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

The goal of LORCA is to position the UK as a global leader in the growing field of cyber security and to help keep the nation safe from online threats.
