Do you have any headcanons of the Lightwood-Banes celebrating New Years? :D

Nephilim don’t really celebrate New Years but according to Magnus nephilim are allergic to all fun things. So, the Lightwood-Banes definitely celebrate New Years.

Magnus and Alec always make it a point to be with the kids on New Years regardless of how busy they are.

Alec’s New Year resolution is to learn Spanish so he can converse with Rafe. (Clary said this Duolingo thing might help m-Alexander, NO!)

Rafe’s resolution is to learn how to use the bow and arrow. Alec is NOT emo over that at all.

Magnus’ resolution for this year is nothing. (Resolutions are for those need improvement. Hence, my flawless self does not need to be concerned with such things)

Max’s resolution is to get a sista orra dinosaur.

They all love enjoy watching the fireworks. They use mundane firecrackers but Magnus magically creates some customized ones for Alec. (Daddy, why does the blue one say ‘guess what else is popping toni-MAGNUS GET OVER HERE!!!!)
