My notes: The scene with Pansy and the banana was a bit… Weird. Amazing story though, I thought that they would transfigure the deer and hide Hermione in the forest or something, but this was way better!

The first time Hermione really needed saving it wasn't Viktor, Ron, or even Harry Potter who came to the rescue. It was Draco.

My notes: I loved how Hermione was able to mix muggle and magic together, even for the Malfoys. Once again, I loved Narcissa in this one, reminded me a bit of a kind of evil version of Luna.

By all appearances, Hermione Granger runs a successful bookshop, lives a happy life, and wants for nothing. However, when a person from her past starts asking uncomfortable questions, Hermione realizes that things are never as they appear.

Doubt was a funny thing. It was like a tick; harmless on the surface, but when it burrowed in deep, extremely dangerous. For Draco Malfoy, successful Death Eater, ruthless soldier and proud Pureblood, it may just be his downfall.

My notes: I think I’m addicted to this author’s fics… And learned a new word, never heard of ‘acerbic’ before. Going to file this as 'medium’ length. Even though it’s less than 10 chapters, because the chapters are quite long.

Hermione tugged at the string holding the hood onto the boy’s head, gingerly pulling the fabric back to reveal his face. Lying before her, barely recognizable beyond the swelling and the blood, but still very much himself, was Draco Malfoy.

My notes: Yep, I feel the love again!😍 This author really has a thing for emotions. It’s not easy to write about them and really touch the reader, without becoming sappy. I adored the ‘internal conversations’ they had in their heads! Very badass Hermione and damn did I love Narcissa! Only ‘bad’ thing I can say is that the story went really fast, I was sad it was over when I finished reading it.

Draco Malfoy’s loyalties have always been to himself, and his concern for his own safety is paramount, but when the war ends with Potter’s death and Voldemort controls Hogwarts castle, Hermione Granger finds herself under Draco’s protection. A Gryffindor needs to play a Slytherin’s game in order to save herself and each other.

My notes: Part 1 of Shelter and Sanctuary. Very angsty one-shot. When Voldemort wins and Harry dies, Draco claims her as his prize. Voldemort wants him to break her, but she seems pretty broken to me from the start. Not really sure which Draco is the real one, the one when they’re alone or the one in public…
