Tessa blushing 130 years later.
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Tessa had been wrong about at least one thing: Will was shocked.
“Sophie did this?” he said, not for the first time. They were standing at the foot of Jessamine’s bed. She lay flung upon it, her chest rising and falling slowly like the famous Sleeping Beauty waxwork of Madame du Barry. Her fair hair was scattered on the pillow, and a large, bloody welt ran across her forehead. Each of her wrists was tied to a post of the bed. “Our Sophie?”
Tessa glanced over at Sophie, who was sitting in a chair by the door. Her head was down, and she was staring at her hands. She studiously avoided looking at Tessa or Will.
“Yes,” Tessa said, “and do stop repeating it.”
“I think I may be in love with you, Sophie,” said Will. “Marriage could be on the cards.”
Sophie whimpered.
Always remember that Will hated "A Tale of Two Cities" but he read it again because it was Tessa's favorite book. And he didn't found it silly at all, so he...
Wrote a love letter inside the book.
Used the most beautiful quote from Sydney Carton in his love letter.
"You were the last dream of my soul" became their thing.
It was even written on their wedding rings!!!
And last, but not least, they named their daughter the after the book's main character name, Lucie.

I'M FINALLY BACK ON BUSINESS!! 🎉 And to make justice to the long waiting, here's a fanart full of details and colors! I have to say, it took A LOT of work, but it was definitely worth it!

Look at Tessa in that rose dress like a queen holding baby Lucie and Will looking amazing as always, with his hand resting on little James' head... please take a look to all the objects there, they all have a meaning or are references to something/someone ❤ @cassandraclare
Tessa: What’s that on your search history?
Will:
Will: Engagement rings?
Tessa: No, the other one.
Will: ... How to bite a vampire back?
She is my priority! Banner
I made one with mountains bg to represent Cadair Idris and where Will wanted to rescue Tessa from and another with books and roses cause Herongray loves books.
Thanks to @pjo-tsc-trc-otherthingstoo for suggesting the first one. I (kinda) took your advice. I posted both of them!
So feel free to use them! I just ask you give me credit!
Will and Tessa’s first meeting.
Oh, the dramatics.
“But that wasn’t what made her stare. He had the most beautiful face she had ever seen. Tangled black hair and eyes like blue glass. Elegant cheekbones, a full mouth, and long, thick lashes. Even the curve of his throat was perfect. He looked like every fictional hero she’d ever conjured up in her head. Although she’d never imagined one of them cursing at her while shaking his bleeding hand in an accusing fashion.”
Clockwork Angel, Cassandra Clare
