Remember when candy bars came in foil and paper?
Sometime in the early 2000s they transitioned to plastic wrappers, but when I was a kid candy bars were all wrapped in tin foil and closed with a paper sleeve like Wonka Bars. I guess switching to plastic was cheaper, and it was probably a sanitation thing, like they had to hermetically seal the candy for health reasons, I totally get it. I remember my older sister would always tear the paper sleeve to get it off, but I’d always slide it off carefully so I could keep it (no idea why I wanted to keep them, I always ended up throwing them out anyway)
