When he doesn't get an immediate reaction, he tells him anyway. “Skulk catalysts.” His first reaction is to gasp, and he’s rather proud of how he chokes it down. Diaphragm tightening to hold his breath fast in his throat. These idiots are planning a trip to the Deep Dark without a mage—no wonder he’s pushing so hard for Scar to join. A death sentence, really, and for catalysts. He doesn’t let himself ask, not yet. A smirk slithers onto Grian’s face, just the edge of his tooth showing. “You’re interested,” he lilts.
