Please write the next scene after Robert says sorry it looks like I forgot my invitation. John’s reaction as well.
Ok this is short but sweet as I'm battling 36% battery and my charger being downstairs...bear in mind I've only watched the new clips with no sound so...
I didn't know if you wanted the realistic what I think we'll get, or the what we all want version so I tried to mix the two but I think my sappy side came out a little.
Oh, and I am really really rusty!

"Hello Aaron. Missed me?"
Aaron's heart is pounding so much he thinks the whole room must hear it and he shakes his head, wondering if he does will he disappear. How many times had he dreamt this moment and now it's happening.
He can hear the whispers behind him, one of them sharp and spiteful, his Mum no doubt, but his feet are rooted to the ground. He can't even look at John, all he can do is keep his eyes on Robert. He looks good, amazing for 6 years in prison.
"What are you doing here?"
"isn't it obvious? I'm saving you from making the biggest mistake of your life."
He takes a step before he can think, the hand on his arm and his name merely a distraction and he shrugs it off, striding up the aisle, that face looming over him and he truly couldn't say whether he wanted to punch him or kiss him.
"Guess I forgot my invitation." That smile, the hint of smugness is like a warm blanket and he's missed it, maybe he didn't realise how much until right this second.
He clenches his fist, pushes down the urge to punch him because even after everything he can't, instead the hand on his arm pushing him outside into the sunshine, ignoring the shocked cries and his mum screeching his name.
"Hello." Robert says as soon as he looks at him.
"What are you doing here?"
"I told you."
"What would you know about it? About anything? You haven't spoken to me in six years, you barely even speak to your sister! And as for your son, do you even know how he is."
"Don't Aaron."
"I will, because you just walk back in and expect everything to be fine?"
"No...I..."
"Did you even think about me, when Rebecca died, did you even wonder if I had seen him, or if I'd want to? You just sent him off to an aunt who he doesn't even know!"
"I did what I thought was best for him."
"Well you're good at that aren't you? Just like divorcing me without even talking to me." He takes a step back, the pain on Robert's face is too much and he doesn't want to cave. "You should go."
"Not until you listen to me."
"Why should I?"
"Because you're making a mistake!"
"No, I did that ten years ago when I stopped in that lay-by."
"You don't mean that." Robert's voice cracking makes him stop. No he doesn't mean it, of course he doesn't but what is he supposed to do. John is inside, someone who loves him, who has been there through everything with Steph and all that dug up.
"No, no I don't. But why did you have to come back now?"
"Wasn't like I could just come back before. I'm back now though. You were my first thought when I got out." Aaron scoffs. "You were my first thought every single day, and I'm sorry if you can't believe that, because I know I hurt you and I can't take that back, but I can't let you marry him."
"You don't get to tell me what to do anymore."
"Come on Aaron, when did I ever tell you what to do. Just trust me, you're making a mistake."
"How do you know? You don't even know him!"
"But I know you...tell me something, if someone had burst into our wedding, wait hang on someone did burst into our wedding, would you let it stop you from going through with it. I know you wouldn't."
"I haven't let you stop me yet."
"But you're standing here talking to me." Aaron closes his eyes and lets out a breath, wondering if Robert was always this irritating. Before he can answer he hears footsteps on the gravel behind them.
"You need to leave, Robert Sugden. You've got no right being here."
"I was born here Chas, I've got just as much right to be here as you."
"No you don't! You don't get to come back here and ruin his life again, do you hear me! I won't let you!"
"And what are you going to do about it? Send Paddy after me? Oh wait I forgot, you messed that one up didn't you. Why am I not shocked. What poor unfortunate is putting up with you now."
"Now hang on a minute." Aaron hangs his head as Liam stands next to his Mum, followed by Paddy and Cain. Cain is the only one who doesn't look like he wants to be reaching for a pitchfork, if anything he just looks bored of the drama.
"Can you all just go back inside." He says, trying to bring some kind of order to the noise that erupts, everyone shouting over each other.
"I'm not leaving you with him!"
"What do you think he's going to do, kidnap me? Just go Mum, I'll be there in a minute."

I'm sorry anon, that's all I could come up with tonight, I'll try and continue it tomorrow but I need to try and get some sleep if that's possible.
So far I can't fit John in, which just about sums up the character at his own wedding! But I will try and do a part two tomorrow, hopefully we'll have a bit more info then so I can work around that too!
