Heterosexuality is the romantic and sexual orientation people of opposite gender.

For example,

Male x Female (or vice versa)

Being heterosexual is commonly referred to as being "straight".

Across the world, heterosexuality is the most common sexuality. Many people strongly believe that heterosexuality is the "normal" type of relationship (these beliefs are viewed as homophobic)
