It makes me so mad when people say that men and women can’t be friends. I have a few girl friends who have hooked up with every guy they’ve been friends with and say they can’t be friends with men. And then there are so many guys who have no interest in women unless they’re a sexual or romantic partner. Idk if it’s an ace thing but I have close friends of all genders (and I’m romantically attracted to any gender / asexual) who I have had zero interest in romantically or sexually ever, is that not normal????

😂 this really doesn’t rate a response but I’m in a gaming mood I guess. I literally never said she wasn’t, just that heteronormativity and amatonormativity hurts everyone, heteros included. Which is just an objective fact, friend!

We’re trained to be obsessed with love and relationships from a young age and being single is treated as being incomplete and the result is people, whether straight or not, forcing themselves into roles that don’t actually fit them with people they often don’t even like that much, which makes a lot of people very unhappy for long stretches of time, especially in their youth. This happens to people all around the gender/sexuality spectrum, and recognizing and confronting that is hard! Some people never do!

What ever my feelings about Ted Lasso finale are the het shipper went through a whole queerbait arc and it is extremely satisfying to see their hurt and confused posts as realize the writers think of them as a joke. I've seen/written the exact posts word for word written about other queer ships and seen fans be called delusional for it so i'll have my moment of being petty, thank you.

You fans have my sympathies.. But also, damn it feels good to see this happen to a straight ship....
