Day 8: Some of the tools I need to hew the joints spots. Once the axe of the log is found, I mark the cheeks with a chalk line and find the position of the joints. I cut the depth with the saw, clean the main material with a heavy axe not too curvy then I even the surface with the broadaxe from @gransforsbruk. The last pics is the partition wall joint. The log was actually too small and the space for the next joint is too low, this can complicate the work.
