hi im reading this book "how to break dragon heart" for the first time, why is this "Hiccup" main character acting so conceited and arrogant? its really putting me off.
sci fi hiccup but toothless is his ship and berk the busy space port in the solar system he calls home
they run a delivery service to and from, helping ppl get their goods where they need it when they need it. his dad is the governor, and keeps everything running smoothly.
sure hiccup could follow his father and be in politics, but imports and exports are always a good business to be in. people always need things. always money to be made and things to get done
besides he likes his team and he likes his work. it lets him be more flexible then most. and there’s a freedome that comes with gliding through the stars you can’t get anywhere else
and perhaps one day his ship unexpectedly acts up and he’s forced to land on a planet hes never heard of. surrounded by people who wield crude weapons, speak a different tongue, and look at him like he’s something unheard of
and things only get weirder
little does he know he just crash landed into the universe where toothless is a dragon, and he is a rider. and there will be thousands of years to go before humans even kiss the starts let alone traverse them
but this universes version of hiccup is missing. and he has to play pretend. piecing things together till he is able to fix his ship and get the hell out of here
at least some things never change. astrid is still head strong and listens to no one. his dad is always busy and tending to the people. dagur is insane. and there’s always a problem he needs to fix
there’s one thing that exists in this bizarre world that doesn’t in his. you. with your wide eyes and soft laugh. he can’t figure you out. everyone else he knows. there’s a counter part back in his own side of things
so where did you come from? what are you doing here? so many questions and no time to ask them properly as he’s always being whisked away to solve some skirmish or another
he needs to find someone trust worthy to help him survive this freezing hell hole before he gets himself killed on the back of a dragon. sooner rather then later would be fantastic
will he ever return to his world ? his gut tells him you are somehow the key to helping him get home
Happy Easter from my piggy, Hiccup. He was a good sport about the outfit and got lots of veggies for putting up with his mum's whims
Placing a piece of thread of Child's hair won't stop hiccup - paediatricians
Placing a piece of thread of Child’s hair won’t stop hiccup – paediatricians Child care specialists have debunked the long-held belief that placing a strand of thread on a baby’s head will stop hiccups, stating that the practice often shared as a home remedy by well-meaning family members, had no scientific basis. They warned that such practice could lead to unnecessary anxiety and distraction…
