Hidden Poetry
To Life, which is the spring,
a season to blossom with delights
spring is a celebrated intrigue,
a guest.
But, it will change
a poignant, wasted beauty.

I found this lying in my OneNote

The Two Cocks.
The Rain Comes Sobbing To The Door
Sinking...
I stand in light
And fall into the darkness
I fight the impending shadows
While running towards the sun
But the light
The sun
As much as I reach
Is perpetually farther away
Panic, Doom
So familiar
Begin to grab my ankles
And I fall
I reach
I crawl
Attempt to keep moving
As long as I keep moving...
I feel myself no longer move forward
But I’m not moving backwards
Instead I sink
Sink straight down
I continue to fight
Refuse to give up
I scream, claw
Until my throat and hands are raw
And I begin to realize and remember
This pain, this feeling is familiar
It’s one I haven’t allowed
So... I stop fighting
I allow myself to sink
And I sink further
As the colors wash over
And I feel each one
One piece is missing for completion
And it won’t come
Until I accept that I HAVE to sink
I MUST sink to be free
In that moment the wave comes
Breaks the dam
Bringing acceptance
Healing
And now that I’ve completely sunk
Given myself over to it
I emerge on the other side
Clean and Ready
Daylight shines
And I take my first steps
Upright
Moving forward
