I don't like the fact that I missed the 'chemistry' between Elizabeth and Jack in the Pirates when I was a kid???

The 'chemistry' meaning the attempt at one (you know, the talking with their faces really close, or when the compass pointed to Jack, when they were looking for DJ's heart)

I just don't feel it, even as an adult

It feels forced and out of character for Elizabeth

But it makes the kissing at the end make much more sense (apart from the obvious plan) now that I understand that there was supposed to be chemistry.
