based on hermes kids’ natural empathy & the fact that hermes was someone who guided travelers, i’m starting to feel like his children would make really good life coaches and therapists

I really love the headcanon that Hermes kids naturally draw people who feel lost to them, cause of both Hermes guiding travelers and Hermes’ chthonic form guided souls to the Underworld. Hermes kids are probably excellent company when you need advice or cheering up.

first of all, look at @hideandsneak's youtube piper au ASAP it's so funny and cool to me ahhhh. anyway, that post reminded me that Monster Donut existed and after like 40 mins of nonsense, BAM:

there's most definitely a monster donut in new rome that is monster owned and employed. it's a rule that you're not allowed to come in if you have weapons or armor on. the little donut mascot's name is Little Chaos, but new rome doesn't have the mascot costume anymore because someone blew it up when asking out their homecoming date in like, 2006 :(

how many of percy’s disaster field trips happened in roommates verse? like, did he still accidentally go swimming with sharks in third grade or does that only happen when there’s divine intervention

i’ve been sitting on this ask bc i do want him to have disaster field trips when he’s younger bc i think he and middle school annabeth would have a fucking blast together. they’re less supernatural, but i think he definitely pushed a fully clothed clarisse into the pool and got detention for it. annabeth immediately does something to get detention so that they can pass notes and make faces at each other across the room.
