I love living by the ocean, it always smells amazing when it rains. It’s drizzling right now but I lit some rose incense that my friend gave me and I’m sitting outside on my balcony.
These photos are all animals I saved from last summer. A dehydrated seagull that wasn’t moving from the middle of a hot parking lot on a 96 degree day- I gave him the rest of my water and nudged him til he moved to the shade, he eventually got up and flew away; two newborn baby sparrows, 2 separate days, that fell off our roof onto the balcony and were unable to be placed back into their nest- we made a warm rice/paper towel box and had a friend drive us 2 hours to a wildlife sanctuary each time; and at least 20 or so horseshoe crabs- washed up on the beach during mating season and would have cooked in the sun. Venus was really putting me to work last year. It makes me wonder what this summer will be like.

Went out with @arden-et-al yesterday (we met on tumblr and realized we live literally the next cities over from each other). Idk if she wants me to post the picture we took together, but believe me when I say that Aphrodite followers are always so gorgeous and vibrant 😻
She gifted me a protective talisman to help with things I’ve been going through lately, and a bunch of other stuff!! 🥹 We had brunch, a very long walk on the beach, and yapped about witchy topics for hours.
It feels so good to make a new friend in the area because all my witch friends live far away
Update for those who were worried: I'm still lowk going crazy/terrified of dealing with the future and not doing too well, but I had a revelation while I was in Maine: Whenever you are struggling, go back to your Craft.
I did some spellwork since then, and it does make me feel lighter. I am still bedrotting most of the day, but I'm sleeping normally again, and my mood is slowly improving.
