Hii 11b isn't very Caryl heavy so I haven't been posting as much as well as uni being priority too. But I have been thinking about s11 or more 11b so far and what the storyline has been.
So we know that some of our group has taken up a new hold in CW and they are all on different jobs storys and paths while other are scattered about in Alexandria or at hilltop. So so far Daryl and Rosita are guards full pledge soliders and Carol has created this favour system with Lance while Connie tries to dig deeper into the CW. So far I like the story but I do I have one thing to it. I thought it would be vastly different it's the final season and I feel like we are getting a lot but we aren't receiving as much. I like it but it's missing something possibly the core group which I loved in S10 but this is all scattered to the wind and the six months time jump we are set in is very frustrating as well trying to figure out where we are from where EP 9 ended.
More about the story I thought we would be getting like what Carol and Connie are doing is what I thought everyone in the group would be doing which is basically choosing a target to take down or use Carol is using Lance to get Ezekiel surgery but he is showing her all his ' legal ' action and plans which she can use to her advantage and Connie trying to bring down Pamela and the CW at the same time to expose it, I love these two badass women. I thought that's what the story for 11b even the CW storyline would be is chose a target take them down like how the group took over Alexandria back in s6, you know without the whole someone dying and something being on fire aspect of things but it's really not.
In ep10 we see they've been in the CW for a month and we don't see there screening process or how over that month they adapted to their new homes or given their jobs. I thought we'd see more of the story like Out of the Ashes we see Eugene, Zeke Princess and Yumiko go through screening and we see their reaction to the CW I would of loved to have seen that for the core group who have went to the CW but nothing. More on the target thing like in s6 Carol Rick and Daryl has there plan to take Alexandria, Alexandria being the target as well as Deanna they had a set plan to take this place, which is what I expected from s11 for the CW story I get that they are helping to rebuild communitys that our group have but even small sneaky convos with each other about each target or their plan on how they decided who gets what target like so far Carol has Lance I'm her grasp. Say well Carol has Lance, Connie on Pamela, Rosita and Daryl on Mercer and like Rick Carol and Daryl did in s6 they decide what has to be done for their people. I feel like I was setting expectations high and they have been up and down over the episodes. It's just missing something in the story
