My high school was shit but one of the few things I loved is that during the year 12 muck up day back in 2018 they salted the oval grass in the shape of a giant penis overnight, and google maps’ streetview managed to map it like that while it was still there.

and it was preserved in google maps for at least six years.

I looked it up again just now and tragically it seems that they somewhat recently updated the area bc that beautiful artwork is now gone forever so I’m making this post to preserve it

being goth and socially awkward can sometimes makes you respond with unintentional bangers when ppl try to spew bs, like, if I remember correctly, first day of junior year in highschool some boys at lunch asked me if I 'wanted to perform a ritual with them' and I just looked at them blankly for a moment and then asked 'what kind' in the most deadpan voice 💀💀

I think about how the first time I saw Brokeback Mountain was at a sleepover sophomore year of highschool and after everyone went to sleep I was just staring at the ceiling going oh my god so that’s what love is like

Then the next sleepover we did drinking games for the first time and nothing will ever be funnier than your friend falling off the toilet

STORY TIME!!! so I got to school pretty early this morning (around 6:30) and I had my water bottle with me (as usual). it was empty, and I planned on filling it up when I got to school.

I didn't. i told myself "as soon as I'm in class, I'll set my stuff down and fill up my water bottle" my teacher didn't open the classroom doors until 7:30ish. she comes in, I set my stuff down, and plopped my supposed to be empty water bottle on the desk.

my water bottle made a deep thunk. not the bounce sound of plastic hitting whatever the fuck desks are made of.

it was full. my 30 oz water bottle, which was empty while I was carrying it, was completely full.

I was shocked, so I gave it a sip. it was water, all right. it tasted like cave water. my friends have confirmed it tastes like cave water. the bottle is next to me, and I'm still gonna drink it.

tldr: I have either have 30 oz. of ghost water or I blacked out for way too long.

in my highschool we have a wing for grade 8s so they can get to know the highschool at an easier pace, that means leadership aims a lot of the welcome stuff at them

it's pretty boring when the parents are around, but when I get a couple grade 7s alone on touring days and get to tell them STORIES?? Absolute euphoria

if you are not telling your incoming fresan about how the older kids snuck into your changing room and pissed on all the guys gym shoes, you have failed as a tour guide.

When I was a senior in high school I only had two subjects to complete in order to graduate (thanks overachieving homeschooling moms, I really loved having to cram two chapters of seven subjects each every week) one of those subjects was world literature.

(The homeschooling community I was a part of had co-op classes twice a week, and my mother happened to be teaching the world lit class I needed.)

During the class we were to read several books, one of those books was The Book Theif. And if you don’t know, it’s written from Death’s perspective, and Death is the narrator.

As per usual, my mom explained this to the class before we read the book. Except, one of my classmates thought she said the narrator was Deaf.

He was very confused and disturbed when Death started reaping souls, and he didn’t realize the narrator was Death until that point. He explained that Deaths detailed descriptions of colors and smells made perfect sense if the narrator had been deaf.

We all had a good laugh at his expense
