step one: abuse and gaslight them for 27 years
step two: get kicked out and tell everyone in the church that his wife is an evil witch that has poisoned your kids against you
step three: agree upon the divorce to help pay for your diabetic son’s medical bills because your wife makes half your salary and your son works a shitty job
step three and a half: force your son to mediate between your wife and you instead of speaking to her directly, even though he cut contact, then try to gaslight him into asking for less money, even though he’s diabetic that shit costs three legs and a heart
step four: pay once and then delay paying again afterwards
step four and a half: try and claim that the bills are too much and you can’t afford them even though you don't know how financing works, make twice the amount of your wife, and you think that not having to pay rent somehow drains your bank account every month.
step five: pay half the owed amount because your pastor found out and you have to preserve your messiah complex
step six: stop paying, claim your wife is asking for too much and that your son should “spend less.”, and ignore any correspondence from son and wife
step seven: freak out because your wife used a joint credit card to pay for the medical bills so that you can directly see the costs of the diabetic bills
step eight: close the joint card without saying anything to wife, ignore the costs of having a diabetic offspring, and continue to cause financial stress upon your family because you’re an idiot and a narcissistic asshole
and people this is just the bare bones, very summarized, version of the events that have happened over the past three years. there is so much more context, detail, and backstory than i could ever get into in one post. he continues to cause stress in my mother, and my little brother. my little brother, who has depression and has h*rmed himself recently, cannot handle the added stress of being forced to mediate between a selfish and malicious liar, and our mother.

i’m serious, there is so much shit that he’s done to us over the past 30 years that if you gave me time to write it down, it’d be as thick as a lotr book.
