Top 8: Media, Marketing & Creative Careers Expo
Connect and network to find a job this summer at the Media, Marketing & Creative Careers Expo! The employers at this fair will span across many communication services fields from brand managements to fashion to journalism. We recommend looking into the companies you are interested in before the fair. There are 20 employers attending the fair this year! Here is a sneak peek into just a few to get you started:
1. Atlantic Media – Atlantic Media is comprised of The Atlantic, Government Executive Media Group, National Journal, CityLab, and Quartz. They produce over digital, print, event, social, and video platforms, and have a worldwide audience of 55 million people each month! Atlantic Media is looking for seniors, master’s students, and graduate alumni to fill full-time positions in their creative and business departments.
2. Panera Bread – Panera offers a lot of room for growth and opportunity – on average, they open 100 new independent franchise bakery-cafes each year! They also are active in giving back to the community – every day, they donate unsold baked goods to non-profit organizations. Panera Bread is seeking all undergraduates, undergraduate alumni, master’s students, doctoral students, and graduate alumni for both internships and full-time positions in their creative department.
3. BookBub – BookBub is a free service that helps you to discover books that you will love. They enhance your book searching experience by giving you recommendations based on your favorite genres and authors, and notifying you about discounts and new releases. BookBub is looking for sophomores – seniors, undergraduate alumni, master’s students, and graduate alumni for both internship and full-time positions in a wide variety of departments, including their creative, business, and technical departments.
4. Forbes Media – Forbes Media is a global media company with a focus on news about business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and affluent lifestyles. They have been in business over 100 years, have a magazine readership of 7.4 million, and have 71.1 million unique monthly visitors to their website in the United States. Forbes Media is seeking juniors and seniors for internships in their creative department.
5. Hill Holliday – Hill Holliday has capabilities in brand building (including strategy and brand consulting), the digital space (including social media and influence), and media. They have been in business for 50 years and are the 11th largest media agency in the US! Hill Holliday is looking for juniors, seniors, undergraduate alum, master’s students, and graduate alumni for both internship and full-time opportunities in their creative, business, technical, and other departments.
6. Digitas – Digitas is highly focused on creating a good work-life balance for their employees – they believe it is the secret to their success and the success of their clients. They feature videos of their employees on their website, highlighting what their “unicorns” love to do outside of work. Digitas is seeking juniors and seniors to fill internship and full-time positions in their creative, business, technical, and other departments.
7. Procter & Gamble – P & G has 22 billion dollar brands – many of which you probably have in your home! Their brands span across many different segments of consumer goods, including baby care, hair care, home care, personal health care, and many more. Their products are used by nearly 5 billion people around the world! Procter & Gamble is looking for juniors, seniors, and master’s students for both their full-time and internship opportunities in their business department.
8. Thrive Global – Thrive Global’s goal is to end the stress and burnout epidemic. They bring the latest strategies and tools around health and well-being to organizations to inspire a thriving corporate culture. They want to accelerate a culture shift that will allow people to reclaim their lives! Thrive Global is seeking all undergrads, undergraduate alumni, master’s students, doctoral students, and graduate alumni for both internship and full-time opportunities in their creative and business departments.
