I made a few character sheets for the characters in the fantasy world main cast/sub cast!
I really love them and hope I can continue to show everyone this world and continue to show it off and bring it to life.

Remember I told you I saw Gojo at my local boba spot?
Yeah, here's the proof 😅😱😍🤤
Remember how Rukia has the title of Snow White, right? Well, I feel that Hime, too, has a connection with a classic fairy tale heroine, namely the Little Mermaid. However, I didn’t see any posts about it, so I don’t know if others feel the same way. So I thought I should explain this idea. Because I think there are some interesting similarities!
Firstly, let’s grab the Disney version of the tale (we’ll get to the original one too). On the visual level, both Ori and Ariel have long red hair, soft faces with doe eyes & innocent expressions, and finally, both tend to wear dresses with puffy sleeves (the HM dress & the Quincy war dress vs the pink dress & the wedding dress). Character-wise, both are enthusiastic weirdos and both have big crushes on guys they barely know. You could say this comparison is in favour of I/H since Ariel did end up with her love... who also happens to be a black-haired prince who dresses in white. Hmm, I wonder which boy from Bleach fits that description... it’s Uryuu
But these are all shallow similarities. Now, take the original story of the Little Mermaid, written by Hans Christian Andersen, and things become more substantial... and more pro-IR. As many fairy tale lovers already know, the mermaid doesn’t end up with the prince in that version. She realizes that he loves another woman - in that, we have a link to Hime realizing that Ichigo’s feelings for Rukia are something she can’t compete with.
The 2nd connection is probably the biggest one: in the fairy tale, the contract with the sea witch says that the mermaid would die if she doesn’t get the prince to return her feelings. Which she doesn’t, and the prince marries another girl. The sisters of the mermaid, however, bring her a magic knife that would save her life... if she’d kill the prince with it. The mermaid takes it and comes to the prince’s tent at night (where he sleeps with his bride), prepared to do the wrong thing, but in the end, she can’t do this. She’s sad, but decides to leave and throw herself into the sea instead, thinking that it’s time for her to die. Now, doesn’t it sound like the infamous night visit Ori pays Ichigo before leaving to HM, with her thinking that it’s the final goodbye?
But wait, it gets better - the mermaid doesn’t actually die, she gets transformed into a “daughter of the air” because of her good deeds in life. These creatures are described as being invisible to the humans, so what does the ex-mermaid do next? “Unseen she kissed the forehead of his bride, and fanned the prince, and then mounted with the other children of the air to a rosy cloud that floated through the aether”, that’s what. Which makes me think of invisible Ori leaving with the Arrancars through a Garganta.
And oddly enough, the Andersen tale focuses heavily on the fact that the mermaids don’t actually have a soul, but can obtain one if they get a human to love them. Now, this surely reminds me of the Hollows and of the way Hime “gave” Ulquiorra a heart. So the same theme, only subverted.
Oh, and then there’s the whole “going to another world with the help of a villain” part, of course (the human world - Hueco Mundo), although obviously the motivations behind the act are vastly different.
Really, the more I think of it, the more it fits. Buuut I’m also aware that I may be stretching things (after all, the little mermaid saved the prince, whereas in Bleach it was Ori who needed to be saved). But hey, that’s what fan analyses are known for lol.
