A Tsukishima x Hinata prompt, if that's ok?

"Remind me why I can’t kill the carolers?” from one of those Christmas prompt ideas

It is more than okay! I love these two chaotic dorks!

The apartment door flies open and crashes shut a moment later.  Kei would say something about neighbors and wall damage but it hasn’t deterred Shouyou the other seventy-three times so he has no reason to believe a seventy-forth time will do anything.

"Remind me why I can’t kill the carolers?”

Kei doesn’t even look up from his book as Shouyou drops all of his bags on the floor and starts shedding layers.

“Because there’s no way you wouldn’t get caught and the only person we know with enough money to bail you out of jail is Kenma and after the stunt last month with Kuroo and Bokuto—”

“I still say that it was Kuroo’s fault and I had nothing to do with it.”

“—Kenma has decided that none of us are allowed any of his money until we become less chaotic gremlins, his words not mine.  Which basically means, you know, never.”

Shouyou throws his scarf at the hook on the wall, cheers softly when it catches and hangs in place, and then pads over to Kei on the couch.  Kei just hopes that nothing in his bags needs to be refrigerated.

“You and I both know that Kenma loves me.”

“Yeah.  And?”  Kei finally looks up, eyebrows raised in question.  “Your point?”

Shouyou grins and leans in to give Kei a kiss.  “He’ll give in and break his own rule in, like, a week,” he says against Kei’s lips.  “Two and a half weeks tops.”

Kei rolls his eyes and grabs Shouyou’s shirt sleeve as he kisses him back.  After he’s had his fill for now he uses Shouyou’s sleeve to yank him down next to him on the couch and tuck Shouyou against his side.  Shouyou hums happily and makes himself comfortable.

“So,” Kei says once Shouyou stops wriggling around.  “That means you need to wait at least a week, possibly two and a half, before you kill anyone.  Maybe use that time to think of how to not get caught.  Because I love you but I am not taking out a loan to bail you out.”

Shouyou gasps.  “I knew it.  I knew Kenma loved me more than you do.”

“Shouyou.”

“Kei.”

“Even your own little sister doesn’t love you as much as Kenma loves you.  It’s a fact of the universe.  The sun rises and sets.  Water is wet.  Kenma loves you the most.”

“Oh.  Well.  When you put it that way…”

Kei shakes his head and tugs Shouyou even closer before going back to his book, Shouyou warm against his side.

“You are spoiled rotten,” he says eventually.  “You know that right?”

“’m not spoiled,” Shouyou replies tiredly.  “I’m just well-loved.”

Kei hums and watches from the corner of his eye as Shouyou yawns and drifts off to sleep.  He’s not wrong.  Shouyou is well-loved.  

He presses a kiss to Shouyou’s head and smiles when Shouyou mumbles and snuggles even closer.  Kei’s just the lucky bastard who Shouyou loves the most.

Shouyouknew the end was coming. He hadn’t expected them to last this long,let alone any longer. Every day with Tsukishima was a gift he didn’tdeserve, and one he was going to spend the rest of his lifetreasuring.

Still,when Tsukishima asked him if they could talk in private one night ata party at Bokuto and Kenma’sapartment, Shouyou couldn’t say he wasn’t heartbroken. Hefollowed Tsukishima onto the balcony with his heart in his shoes.

“Whydo you look so sad?” Tsukishima asked when the door was closed andthe party sounds were muffled and distant.

“Youknow why,” Shouyou replied. “Just… Get it over with.”

“Getit over with?”Tsukishima repeated. “Is… Is that how you feel?”

“WellI don’t exactly want to draw it out,” Shouyou said. “It’s notexactly pleasant for me.”

“Oh.I see.” Tsukishima fiddled with something in his pocket, a grinstretching over his face. “You think I’m here to break up withyou, don’t you?”

“Whatelse could you be doing?” Shouyou snapped.

“Really?At a party? You think I’m that heartless?” Tsukishima lookedunimpressed, which, come to think of it, was a pretty typical lookfor him.

“Well?”Shouyou cried. “You can be cold. And it’s not like I haven’tknown it was coming for a while now. So. Get it over with.”

Butinstead of getting it over with, Tsukishima took Shouyou’shand in his own. He looked Shouyou in the eye as he lowered himselfto one knee. Still staring at Shouyou, he took a ring box out of hispocket.

“It’sa hobby of mine to prove you wrong,” he whispered as he opened thebox.

“Kei,are you-” Shouyou cut himself off, too unbelieving of what was infront of him.

“Iam,” Tsukishima said. “I’m asking you to marry me. I’m notbreaking up with you. I promise I never will. I’ll spend the restof my life proving it to you, if that’s what you want. I love you,Shouyou. You’re the light of my life, and I want to spend the everyday from now until eternity basking in that light. So. Will you marryme?”

Shouyoudidn’tanswer with words. He simply took the ring out of the box withshaking hands and slipped it onto his finger. Then he launchedhimself at Tsukishima, who caught him with a laugh.

“I’lltake that as a yes,” he whispered.

“Yes,”Shouyou said. “Yes, yes! Absolutely, yes!”

InTsukishima’skiss, Shouyou could taste the rest of forever, sitting like a promiseon his lips. He dove into that promise with everything he had.

Tsukishima Kei turns. His bed feels too warm, he can't for the life of him get comfortable, and he's thinking too much about things he shouldn't be thinking about in the first place. It's a vicious cycle of frustration, heart ache, and doubts. He grips the edges of his sheets, annoyed at himself. It was a school night, and a glance to his phone reminded him that it was 12:46 am. He could've sworn an hour had already passed since he's last checked (it had apparently been three minutes since then) and to be frank, he feels too troubled to sleep.

The problem lied on a specific boy with a brighter-than-bright smile and an idiotically charming personality. Specifically, how Tsukishima, embarrassingly enough, ended up catching idiot and fell. He fell hard. For him. It's stupid and he knows it.

That problem had led to another problem he never particularly thought to care about: did that mean he was gay? Tsukishima turns the word around in his mind, wondering if every possible definition of the word described what he was feeling for the obnoxiously orange-haired teammate. Maybe Hinata was just an exception. He's never been attracted to anyone before him, anyway.

Having had enough of the emotionally exhausting debate with himself, he leaves his bed, takes his well-loved headphones, and sits comfortably on the chair by his desk. He plugs in his headphones and immerses himself in song.

It was a hard day, wasn't it?

Of course, it hits too close to home. Tsukishima glares at his phone for even bringing up some ballad song on shuffle play. His hands make no move in changing the song though.

Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic. Tsukishima Kei saves the song to a new playlist. 12:46, he names the new playlist.. How did he let these feelings run this deep? No, he's thinking too much about this. The next song comes up.

Still, I have to say this

Tsukishima Kei will not confess. It's dumb, and his dumb feelings will go away sooner or later.

I've thought of you this way

But if you don't feel the same,

...will it? He internalizes his problems more often than not. Wouldn't it be easier if he let it be said, and live with the comforts of knowing he's been rejected? At least then, there would be a definite answer. With that said...what was keeping him anyway? Does that mean he's hoping that something will happen? His cheeks feels warm at the stupid thought.

He adds the song to the playlist. And another, and another. The playlist adds up with songs that remind him of his pathetic crush. Somehow, somehow, it helps him feel better, wallowing in self-pity like this. Tsukishima Kei eventually falls asleep on his desk at 4:22 am, with a playlist of thirty ballads on a dead phone.

Dragon!ssukki and prince!hinata, pretty please. I know I may be asking too much but, if you would take my suggestion. hinata is a prince of a small kindom(karasuno), he lives a miserable life as his stepmother forces him to work like a slave. Suddenly the dragons started to burn and steal the crops of the kindom. The queen hating her beautiful stepson sugested him to be a sacrifice for the dragons. He is tied to a post in the field. Where tsukki finds him, and takes him to his(tsukki's)home.

Tsukikage or tsukihina?

TsukkiKage

- so Tsukki is food critic, very respected and kinda feared because his opinion means A LOT and he’s pretty hard to please. Besides he rarely smiles (or - rarely smiles an honest smile) and looks really mean and this, mixed with his brutal honesty, gives him an image of rather cold and almost heartless man

- Kageyama at the other hand is a chef - well known, with kinda messy past (he was very demanding, got angry quickly and one day all the cooks left him in the middle of the evening when a critic was supposed to come), but undeniably excelent in what he’s doing

- one day the restaurant Kags currently works at expects a critic visitation

- the staff is kinda stressed and thrilled

- the critic is infamous Tsukishima Kei

- the staff is very stressed and scared

- Kags isn’t really stressed tho, because he knows he’s good and Tsukishima or not - the critic will be pleased

- the evening of Tsukki’s visitation is very tense for the staff. the dish and then the dessert are made with so so much care…

- then Tsukki requests to see the cook who made the dishes

- all the staff is still very stressed and even Kags is a little tense now

- “Kageyama Tobio. Congratulations for not making anything dissapointing.”

- Tsukki is kinda surprised himself because he swears, almost anyone can’t make an edible dish in this goddamn prefecture and they’re calling themselves chefs???? This Kageyama guy on the contrary cooks really good. And bakes even better, this strawberry cake-

- Tsukki is even ready to compliment Kags, but Kags - now relieved - looks really smug, so Tsukki doesn’t say anything

- he often comes to the restaurant privately tho, because something deep inside him really wants to????

- it’s because of the strawberry cake, he tells himself

- Kags tbh feels similar??? he feels… lighter??? when Tsukki comes to restaurant??????

- it’s the fact so demanding and known critic likes his dishes so much, he tells himself

- they see each other quite often then, sometimes even talk a little, mostly about food tho, but they include some private info too. accidentaly, but still

- over time they discover they know A LOT of facts about each other

- at one point they decide to “hang out”. to “test some restaurants”. and then Kags invited Tsukki to his flat, because “he’s trying new recipe for the strawberry cake”

- when the evening ends and they both come home they realize that it was a date. more - the date they really enjoyed and clearly - the other enjoyed it too

- the next time they see each other they talk about the date and decide they’ll give it a try

- some people who know they’re dating say that the fact that the restaurant has so good opinions is caused by the fact, that one of the most important critics in Japan and the restaurant’s chef are dating but it’s not true. well, at least not in a way one can think

- Tsukki is still really honest and Kags is really competitive, so every time Tsukki says even one thing could be done better - Kags tries new ways to make sure the thing is perfect

- neither of them looks like he uses a pet names, but they do when in private. it’s hard to say if the names are food related because of their line of work or because it’s just their style. either way no one ever heard one of them calling the other “cupcake” or “pumpkin” and it will stay that way. so they hope.

TsukkiHina

- Tsukki’s channel is dedicated to movie, TV series and book reviews. he’s so salty and witty he has a lot of subscribers.

- Hinata at the other hand is a gamer (mainly because of his friend Kenma). his reactions and all the “gwaaah!” and “nyoooom!” when he plays granted him quite some subscribers too. he usually plays an adventure games or some horror games because people love his horror games playthroughs and his goal is to make his subscribers happy

- they know about each other because they’re both pretty popular, but they don’t know each other

- not until Tsukki’s fans asked him to review a mystery game. they said they know he doesn’t play, but it has very intriguing plot and maybe he can do a collab with crowthatcanfly????

- Tsukki says no at first, because as the fans noticed - he doesn’t really play any games. so he’s not an expert.

- (besides what kinda name is “crowthatcanfly”???? every crow can fly????? until it’s injured but it’s not “injuredcrowthatcanfly”. what an idiocy)

- but the fans ask him to do this under his every video and Hinata officialy says he wouldn’t mind even if it’s not really his game genre (because the fans ask him for this collab too) so????

- Tsukki finally agrees when his best friend, Yamaguchi, says it can be a nice change of pace. besides he should meet some new people and make some new friends. and he doesn’t want to hear any you-and-Yachi-are-enough’s

- “shut up Yamaguchi”, “sorry, Tsukki, but that’s the truth”

- Tsukki contacts Hinata and they talk about the details

- he knows it will be a nightmare. he watched some Hinata’s videos before he contacted him, and the guy’s so loud and hyperactive… and uses too much exclamation marks and kaomojis. ugh

- they meet up and make the video. they both play the game, Hinata comments on the plot and the mechanics and the graphic and Tsukki discovers the guy isn’t complete idiot??? he’s actually pretty smart if he wants to be?????? tho he still has to help him, because the game is pretty hard and Tsukki has seen and read a lot of detective shows and books, so he kinda knows what to expect.

- the first part of the video has twice as many views as any video of either of them, because it has Tsukki’s snarky remarks and Hinata’s cuteness in it at once??? and they have such a nice and funny dynamics

- (“what? ugh no. just- no.”, said Tsukki. “Tsukishima is kinda rude but he’s a cool guy, so working with him wasn’t bad!!!!!!”, said Hinata)

- they finish playing the game but it’s not over for them.

- the fans want more. Hinata wants more, because he loves making new friends. Yamaguchi wants more, because he knows Tsukki likes Hinata even if he pretends to not to.

- “ugh” - Tsukishima Kei at many points in his life.

- they make more collabs

- Tsukki discovers he actually likes Hinata’s companion

- maybe even more than he should

- because Hinata is kinda annoying because he’s loud, but he’s also really cheerful and positive in a non-annoying way and has his charm okay?

- they become friends pretty quickly even tho Tsukki won’t admit it out loud. maybe only to Yamaguchi

- (“Tsukki, I’m so proud of you, you actually have a friend besides me and Yachi, I’m so happy-” “shut up Yamaguchi” “sorry, Tsukki”. he’s not sorry)

- (yeah, it was a bad idea, he’ll go to Yachi next time)

- they talk a lot and over time Tsukki realizes he???? likes Hinata??????? more than a friend???????????

- it doesn’t. and it’s even worse now because Tsukki is hyper aware of every little thing Hinata does. like the cute way he scrunches up his nose when there’s a really hard part in a game- shut up, Kei.

- one day Hinata looks very nervous and Tsukki is kinda confused. why is Hinata nervous? there’s no way he knows about Tsukki’s crush and feels awkward and doesn’t know how to reject him, there’s no way he could see right through Tsukishima’s normal, annoyed face he keeps up even when he’s freaking inside over (almost) every little thing Hinata does. just. no way

- well, apparently yes way

- except Hinata doesn’t reject him?????? he says he feels the same???????? and that Yamaguchi-kun told him-

- (dammit Yamaguchi, you traitor)

- -and Yachi-san explained that-

- (Yachi, you too? ffs)

- they get together that evening

- (“Yamaguchi, how could you-” “you know how so shut up Tsukki” “sorry Yama- wait”)

- (“Yachi, why?” “how could i not when you two love each other??? you look so adorable together!!!!! and you both like mountains, so i know where to send you for your honeymoon-”)

Even though Tsukishima obviously can’t fit into Hinata’s clothes, he has a revelation one day after pulling on one of his hoodies draped over his chair. His clothes start to smell like Hinata after he’s worn them. He spends the rest of the day in that sweater and just nods when Yamaguchi confusedly asks whether he’s cold. He never gets around to telling Hinata why he’s suddenly okay with him wearing his sweaters, but Hinata’s not complaining.
