Yukina Kanroji

Eldest of the Kanroji kids. Her name translates to

"fortune/everlasting life"; Obanai named her with this translation in mind. Her thick hair, green eyes, and both cheek beauty marks match her mother; the paler sheen to her hair is all Obanai claims to have contributed.

She finds beauty in everything, and found she inherited her mothers dense muscle when she was four and could lift Obanai over her head.

Shes very proud to be her parents daughter, but not fond of sweets.

With her mothers absurd strength she's worked hard to combine learning under Gyomei and Kyojuro to combine powerful moves and straightforward technique to create what she dubbed 'Magma Breathing'.

Part 2 of my X reread highlights! sorry, I wanted to move it here but figured it should stay on the bird app bc I was already pretty far in!

Some things I noticed (or rather, put my focus on due to brainrot) during my reread was looking for signs of the "Kamui was meant to be a DoE" theory, as well as look for parallels between Subaru, Kamui, and Arashi because they're part of my fav X pairings (Seisub, FuuKam, and Sorashi). Of course, the parallels between Subaru and Kamui have been done to death but I think throwing Arashi in the mix didn't hurt and they're a few parallels between all 3 pairings.

Also if you're wondering where all the SeiSub moments are, it's mostly me just squealing because I don't have much commentary to add to them as a pairing. I do think my reread did highlight the chain of Setsuka -> Seishirou -> Subaru -> Kamui though and how Kamui breaks the cycle of having options and being able to choose your own fate.

And also I did write a crack fic about Hokuto living and doing some big game changers for the plot (really just Subaru and Seishirou's relationship) of which can be found here
