It’s spring and you’re in college by the sea on the east coast, and aspiring to be an english major. You’re 19, living in a calm bustling city filled with college students. In between classes, you’re in a coffee shop reading some poetry and magazines. You drink a matcha green tea latte, the warm drink causing a subtle flush on your face. the gentle spring breeze flows into the shop as your love enters, a warm smile on their face. You wait for them to come over after they get an iced coffee with oat milk. They takes a sip as they approach you, kissing you on your forehead, the smell of coffee and musk enveloping you. They sit with you on the beaten brown leather loveseat in the café, placing their coffee on the natural oak wood table. you chat about your day so far, flashing you their wonderful smile, showing their love for you and your words. you’re happy. you’re in love. and most importantly: everything turned out okay. and they always will.
