Pronouns: Sie

sie, hir, hir, hirs, hirself.

Pronounced like either "she" and "her," or "see" and "hear." Derived from German pronouns for "she" and "they."

Forms:

Nominative: When I tell someone a joke sie laughs.

Accusative: When I greet a friend I hug hir.

Pronominal possessive: When someone does not get a haircut, hir hair grows long.

Predicative possessive: If I need a phone, my friend lets me borrow hirs.

Reflexive: Each child feeds hirself.

Thank you for telling me, I didn't know that! I should look more into Romani subjugation throughout history. I only know a brief overview of it but I should really get to learn more about it!

Last night I was writing in a notebook of mine, and I tried to write "herself".

I thought I succeeded until five minutes later I read over the line again.

I'd written "hirself" instead.
