i have this hc that’s paŕtially about Cisco's powers and also about Barrisco and their nerdiness and it doesn't make much sense but still.

the show more or less makes Cisco's powers similar to those of a psychic but i think it's more than mental, it's not telepathy and he's not an empath either. it's all about vibrations and so it does mean his body too. he's shown to have nosebleeds and headaches but also shoulder pain and his hands are the most important part of it all.

in my mind, Cisco feels the vibrations of everything all the time, in his head and centered around his neck and shoulders that connect his powers from head and mind both to his hands. think holding the vibrations of the multiverse kind of on his shoulders basically before he channels them either as more mental projections, so vibes, or portals and breaches. actually, kinda him holding the earth on his shoulders while also being able to shatter it.

maybe, it's more that he holds those vibrations in his shoulders, under his skin, and in the muscles there so they're always so incredibly tense.

i'm honestly always mixing the show, the comics and my own ideas when it comes to Cisco's powers so if it doesn't make sense at all, that’s why.

anyway, all of that does, as established, give him headaches and shoulder pain which Caitlin does take care of first, she's the doctor and specialist after all.

but Barry does understand vibrations more than anyone else and is the best at taking care of his boyfriend husband. while Cisco calms Barry down by purring with and for him, Barry does it too and, also, matches the vibrations Cisco feels constantly with his own, and warmth and electricity and he gives him the best scalp, neck and shoulders massages.

Barry denies doing it in front of everyone else because he gets embarrassed of how much he actually loves it while Cisco outright asks for it whenever and wherever. it's their thing.

the thing is that Cisco's hair always gets in the way and they have come up with a whole ritual. Barry braids Cisco's hair first, sometimes at superspeed, usually not because it helps Cisco feel better as well and also Barry loves playing with his hair. he's the only one who's allowed to, with Caitlin but she only gets one braid privilege, and Barry mastered something better. he gives Cisco the Leia braids, the long one he cheats with and makes two instead that he connects around Cisco's head.

it's Barry's favorite and it's the one from Empire and Cisco loves it too.

it's totally a thing between them and then there's the massages and it's all about feeling good and being nerdy and a thing between meta superheroes.

If anyone knew the nature fam's weakness, it would be the miser. Like, seriously, north wind would claim that he has no weakness and then the misers would walk in the itnerogation with god dang cheesecake just to get him to confess. It probably has worked 99% of the time. What would the rest of the family? No clue I need ideas, I'll probably make a comic about it eventually.
