If Fwhip gets saved from Xornoth do the other winged rulers help him learn to fly properly without hurting his back all the time? There’s obviously a very big difference between the way feathered and draconic wings work (and I am barely holding myself back from a long tangent about it because wings are cool as fuck) but the basic principles of “hey here’s how to do the proper stretches and how often you need to rest to make flying not hurt all the time” would be the same probably.

Joey would probably not care enough to help, Scott would only maybe do it if he had a good enough reason, and I can’t remember if Pearl has wings in this? But if she does then she would almost definitely help if Fwhip lets her. (Because even if he gets saved it’ll take a while for him to warm up to the rulers enough to accept any sort of help or even admit something is wrong)

Maybe they would help him. I mean, just one glance already could show that he had to learn by himself and learned the wrong way.0 Then again, his wings are... unconventional. Literal inorganc parts like iron and copper, some fabrics, all assembled to look like wings. It would be dead weight if it weren't for the redstone components and fWhip's quite latent redstone powers. Plus, it doesn't just look like it's fused to his body, but almost as if Xornoth himself jammed it into fWhip's back and it didn't heal properly. It’s not healthy.

So, if they can't remove his wings, teaching him how to fly properly would be the next best thing to do. But Joey wouldn't care, Scott might help because he can't stand the thought of someone hurting themselves by not knowing the proper techniques, and Pearl has no wings in this AU but would do all the research to help him nonetheless.
