"Ah, there you are Bannie, just the Hotel manager I was looking for~! There are a few things—more like suggestions, that I've been meaning to go over with the Hotel's management team."
Vaggie stood in front of Alastor's room, holding a bowl of jambalaya. "Hey Alastor? I just want to say...I'm sorry we didn't pay that much attention to you. I haven't been appreciating you lately and i want to make it up to you. So, i made you a some jambalaya, your favorite. I hope this is a good first step."
The door to Alastor's room had been firmly shut and locked for a good while. Mostly because he didn't fancy any interruptions while treating his wounds. However, a smaller click could be heard, indicating that the door had been unlocked.
Slowly, it crept open, crimson orbs peering out at the angel on the other side. He and Vaggie had not always seen eye to eye, but they had reached some form of a cautious friendship.
At least to him.
"Miss, it is not solely on your shoulders." He'd murmur. It wasn't on her alone. It was on the collective. He had left the hotel, he had gotten captured, he had gotten hurt. People had been preoccupied with everything else, and he had faded into the background.
Forgotten.
How would the others at the hotel react to fawn!Vaggie?
(SPOILERS)
They were shocked at first, especially Charlie, but once they realize that it doesn't change Vaggie a bit, and it changed Alastor.
Here's how Charlie would react-
Charlie: You never told me that your Dad was the Radio Demon!
Vaggie: I thought it was obvious. We're a lot alike.
Charlie: *looks at Alastor, a murderous, sadistic sinner, then at Vaggie, who last week cried about how Charlie got her fingerprints on the Angelic Spear she found* Are you though?
(Charlie also may or may not be a little jealous about Vaggie and Alastor's very close relationship, but if you asked her that, she would deny it.)
Alastor was also a lot nicer to people, unless you mess with his daughter, so when Angel Dust starts calling her names, it takes Charlie and Rosie (who sensed something was wrong) holding him back, and Vaggie using her baby-eyes (her secret weapon) to get him to not kill Angel Dust, who silently swore never to do that again.
Husk & Niffty- They already knew Vaggie was Alastor's daughter. Vaggie calls them Uncle Husker and Aunty Nift! Husk prefers Vaggie over Alastor (especially when she was able to convince Alastor to release his soul. She also wanted Alastor to release Niffty's, but Niffty didn't want her to).
Can you do a platonic Angel and Vaggie drabble please?
"You’re dating Husk?"
Vaggie had no other words. Angel and Husk? Husk and Angel? Then again, he was a step up from Valentino.
Angel shrugs, "Well what can I say? He satisfies my needs. In more ways than one." He wiggles his eyebrows with a grin, making Vaggie gag.
"Gross. Well…I'm happy for you." Vaggie says genuinely, which makes Angel smile. Not a smirk, but a genuine smile. He was really happy with his life: great friends, the hotel being a success, a loving boyfriend.
Angel couldn’t have it any other way.
"I'm not tired. I'm just...exhausted."
(Vaggie)
Scruffed. Right by her shirt collar. “Uh-huh. Right we’re sittin’ you down. C’mon.”
@hisslord asked:
"I hate being alone."
(Vaggie to Alastor)
"Social buttlefly that you are? Quite the shocker!" He remarked in complete and utter sarcasm. It was a slight jab at her anti-social behavior and lack of openess. If not for Charlie, it was clear this little lady wouldn't often be motivated to invite others close and that, more often than nought, leads to loneliness.
@hisslord asked:
Vaggie goes over to Charlie, holding two mugs of hot chocolate. "Hun, I made hot chocolate with rainbow shaped marshmallows~"
----------------
She'd been lost in thought, feverishly working away on her newest outlines and most recent plans making notations on actual paper for her binder, labeled plans for the Happy Hotel, the very same one she'd started before the project was even in motion. With a highlighter, a pen and a few crayons in her hand she set them all down as soon as her girlfriend's voice rang through, clearing her thoughts completely.
The description excited her, a full-blown beaming smile met her lips, and she nearly squealed!
"Ohhh you are absolutely THE best! It's like you read my mind! Chocolate!!" she can't contain herself as she turns in her seat, bouncing a few times before accepting the mug being offered, oh, it smells so good, she can't wait! She tilts her head upward to peck Vaggie on the cheek, "Thank you, thank you, thank yoouuu~. Ooo, Where did you find the rainbows?! I love them!" her eyes glisten over how adorable they are floating there among the lofting steam.
“It’s a simple recipe my dear!” Alastor flipped through one of his cook books. Since learning this little caterpillar wasn’t the most adept in the kitchen, he sought to change that. After all, she wanted to be able to give Charlie breakfast in bed. “Can’t go wrong with a perfect omelette!”
