Bestie took me to the Trancestry: 10 years of the Museum of Transology exhibition at the weekend. A huge collection of personal items and protest paraphernalia, every object came with handwritten stories, recorded memories, snapshots of histories. One exhibit winded me. My friend held me whilst I cried openly in the middle of the gallery, pulled apart by simultaneously feeling crushed by knowing how hard the past few weeks, months and years have been, how they will be, but also just grateful for the archival cache of existing and resisting
