Character idea.
Whumper has a bird. And a Whumpee. Caged in the same small room together, Whumpee obviously becomes attached.
Until they themselves start growing feathers. Until the bird starts losing weight, starts becoming lethargic.
Whumpee learns real quick why all the Whumpee’s here are paired with animals. And why they all start showing characteristics of said animals. And why all the animals eventually die.
Sadistic whumper doing dna swap experiments. Poor little birdie.
