I love rumi's stupid long ass braid, it looks great, it's such an iconic look and idk how to explain it but it has kind of a creature vibe to me, which fits the whole half demon thing super well, it's also so stupid and impractical
Every time she sits down she has to put that thing somewhere out of the way or else it'll just be laying on the floor part way. Maybe sometimes she just tucks it on her side, maybe she gathers it on her lap, idk, depends on where she is and how much space she has and how filthy the floor is
every time she puts on or takes off a shirt she has to then pull out all of the 15m of braid through the damn collar hole
When they're making new choreos Mira probably has to take into account Rumi's braid bc if there's a quick turn and not enough space between them, Mira and Zoey will just get whipped by that braid. they have been smacked in the face with it multiple times and that thing is THICK, it's gotta be heavy, that shit coming at you with all the power of whip physics behind it would HURT
can you imagine how often they have to clean the floor of their place and the goddamn shower drain bc if one single strand of Rumi’s hair falls out that is the equivalent of at lest 10 strands of hair just bc of how looong it is. I imagine Rumi is a very clean person so she probably does that herself most of the time, but she has to do it so often. And then again, hair falling is just a natural thing that happens all the time, so in other spaces that she often hangs out in you’d probably find some of her hair, like on the other girls room.
Imagine Mira or Zoey finding one rumi hair strand of their bed, they pick it up, roll it around their finger, keep rolling, and rolling, and rolling, then throw it away after they rolled it into a small little ring of hair (out of one – 01 – strand)
So many things about just moving around and existing with it seem so impractical but Rumi is just so used to it by this point it’s just second nature and her body just moves along with it without thinking, automatically adjusting it and getting it out of the way
