Stuffing your face under the Sign of the Prancing Pony

Hot soup was mentioned as being served to the hobbits in The Prancing Pony as part of their in flight pub meal. I'm imagining it was mutton, onion, turnip and/or parsnip and potato topped with fresh herbs from the garden. No carrot with cardamom and No curry and no fucking hummus.

On the 19th of December, it will be the 20th birthday of the Lord of the rings films. So I'm doing hobbit food, as a way of celebrating this birthday! After TEA TIME, it began raining in the Shire, so I'll have to wait for the rain to sto before I go on an adventure. Which is nice, because SUPPER time is here! So I went for a nice fish soup, a Cullen skink, with smoked haddock, potatoes, rosemary, parsley, and onions! It was warm and tasty, the perfect soup for supper, and to warm myself up with this cold weather.
