Schneekos: Weiss and Pyrrha bond and grow close during their time in Atlas together. Their rough relationships with their fathers and status is common ground. Plus Weiss was crushing on Pyrrha since day one lol.
Catmilion: Blake and Ilia are both the apprentices of Adam, training in swordsmanship and fighting to keep their nomad group of Faunus refuges safe. The two get close and like Weiss with Pyrrha, Ilia was crushing on Blake since day one lol.
Holy Bun: This one I will not shut up about. Cardin was raised to believe that Faunus are back stabbing beasts with no loyalty but to themselves. Until Velvet risks her own life to save him from a dust explosion on the front lines in Vale. Cardin is then forced to distance himself from his toxic family and work to be a better man as Velvet works to accept that change can happen in people for the better. The have two children and are happily married in the end. And that was the TLDR of my plans for these two lol.
Nora’s Arc: This is probably the least developed one of them all but it basically boils down to Nora being the one there to help Jaune get Saphron, Terra, and Adrian out of Argus during the Siege. They grow close and fall in love. Needs some work but it’ll get there.
As for Ruby, Yang, and Ren? Ruby is aromantic, and just isn’t looking for a relationship, nor does it fit into this story (although Nuts N Dolts would be the go to if I was going to add in one). Yang dated Neo, until Neo stabbed her in the back, literally. And Ren is just Ren. Yeah idk, he’s there.

there's definitely something about these two that intrigues me, especially when the artists / writers give cardin far more growth than he was ever allowed in canon & explore the type of pitfalls these two in a relationship would encounter. i've seen a lot of really cute fanworks for these two that have me invested.
