Evening Prayer - 26 Feb 2020

I often get to do holy work in this calling, Loving One. I rejoice that you call me into holy situations and to hold holy space. Like today, standing at the BART station as commuters walked past, some stopping to be blessed with the reminder that they, like all of us, are dust, that all of us are mortal, that all of us are here for only a time. Perhaps some people hear that as scary. I hear it as an invitation and a blessing—an invitation to be more loving; a blessing to receive love.

Thank you for the colleagues I got to pray with today. Thank you for the blessing I received in worship tonight from Pastor Brenda. And thank you for the holy space I got to hold and the blessings I got to share during the commute. Amen.
