Holy wrote a cameo of my babies in the latest MKSD Chapter 16, as well as writing several works and trades with them two before, which all were an absolute delight to read and collab on! Dopamine week is almost over, but if I were to write one recommendation, it would be this Heinrix Knight AU story by @holylustration 

It gives off the best possible Game of Thrones in Space vibes, there is courtly intrigue, an endearing protagonist and Heinrix himself is an intriguing mystery which I can’t wait to unravel! 10/10!

Not usually something I do but I thought it'd be fun to make step-by-step gifs of my @rt-gift-exchange gifts for @holylustration and @maggotknight. 💕

My hard drive died, and I completely failed to do what any artist with an ounce of common sense should: have backups. Which meant I had to start both gifts from pretty much the start - ultimately it was a blessing, as I pushed their concepts further from the initial planning.

Holy's piece remained nearly the same, though I decided to switch the concept from a framed piece to a cover novel illustration type. Rose Colline and the vV Palace were supposed to be standalone elements and the thorns were going to be negative space framing, but I'm really glad that I decided for this warp-induced-illusion of Guisorn III and Dargonus! I also "dressed down" Aurelia a bit from the original idea - I wanted something less formal and more intimate, making sure she looks her splendorous self. 👑

Finn's received the biggest change, since it was the artwork I could recover the least of. I was going for an one page comic style, with Lilith and Heinrix's eyes on highlight. But that put Felix in the background, and was also going to be a challenge when it came to deadlines. So I went back to the 3D board and went for something else that'd become a whole scene on itself, with Felix's well deserved space on the spotlight alongside the other characters. It ended up a much more flow-y composition that imo fits the idea of a masquerade dance better!

Again, thank you @jaal-ama-daravv for hosting such a wonderful event, and for being so patient and encouraging with me even through the technical issues. ❤️

And thank you Holy and Finn, for the privilege to see what you share about your girls and your stories, and all the creative juice that has given and will continue to give me!
