Today was a great day full of awesome new things! I started the day with my mushroom chores and got them ready for market. Afterwards I headed to the greenhouse to plant some more tomatoes and to weed the beds. Once we were finished, that's when the real fun began! We headed up to the front fields to learn about blackberries and to meet the piggies!!!!! :) :) They were so sweet and they came running over to meet us and sniff our hands looking for some goodies! It was very cool and so fun! Then we headed up for lunch and I got to try fresh bread from Blue Oven Bakery and some pineapple mango kombucha... Holy yum sauce Batman!! Both were delicious! We finished up the day with a lesson on some machinery and bed building. But once again I was proven wrong... Some asparagus is popping up ready for harvest. I hated asparagus before today, but guys I tell you what.. that fresh outta the ground morsel was the bomb dot com. WOW. What have I been missing all my life? This week is a bonus week.
